Phenotyping of Black-Soldier-Flys

Phenotyping of Black-Soldier-Flys

Larvaes phenotyping

Larvaes are a natural source of protein and support waste utilization. In short, maggot breeding will play an important role in the future.

The larvae of the “Black Soldier Fly” in particular offer a wide range of possibilities for sustainable waste utilization. But also for the production of high-quality animal feed and for the promotion of environmentally friendly agriculture and biotechnology.

As with seed breeding, there are different breeding lines of Black Soldier Flys.

With our MARViN ProLine II device, we help breeders to measure phenotypic characteristics quickly and efficiently.
